Magic is a force that governs most of the universe, affecting all aspects of life down to its minutest details. It is in the blood of gods, the breaths of giants, and the gazes of elementals. It can dictate the outcome of a battle, turn back time, and even prevent death in certain situations. Of course, regular mortals individuals like you and me can harness the power of magic through many different ways. Some gain the ability to cast spells through endless studying, while others manifest their arcane abilities through bloodline. Some people even attained their magic by falling asleep with an opened cursed book on their faces. But magic is magic, whether it has been learned or inherited or bestowed upon.
